I apologize for my noobness, but i have no idea what i've done wrong or how to change the directory.

My tutorial explains how to install ADB, but doesn't go in depth into how to use it. I wish that I had the time to give a more detailed explanation on how to USE it, but it would be too complicated. I suggest that you do some searching on ADB commands. There are many resources already available on the web. I'll try to find some and post them later.

Putting the main sdk in your c:// root will help with directory problems when you switch the path as the video explains as suggested, xda forums have many posts about adb. hopefully i helped you and good luck keep strong and dont give up on your android adventures

Hi, thanks for this great info.
I have a problem:
When it use "adb Shell" it show me: "error: device not found"
I have the newest driver for my kindle, i had unistalled and reinstalled the dirver but it still happen.
I had installed the SDK in other route (C:/users/my_user/appdata/local/android/android-sdk), it's posible that the error happens because i had the instalation of SDK in this route?
Thanks a lot.

Hello. the same happened to me. adb doesnt see the android device. It works fine in a computer but not in the other. Both with windows 7., same configuration. I tried it with 5 devices, they worked in one computer, not the other, but it has the same drivers installed. in fact in Control ¨Panel->system it appears, but adb devices, doesnt sees them. I killed, reloaded, disconnected, etc.
Did you find out how to solve that or why did that happened ?
