This is an EXPERIMENTAL BUILD! Not meant to be used as your daily ROM yet.
Jcsullins has continued his development for the HP Touchpad and has shared an experimental build to show his progress.
Again, I do NOT recommend loading this. There are still some bugs that need to be worked out.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have not previously loaded a version on CM10 on your HP Touchpad, you will want to use ACMEInstaller3 to install this. ACMEInstaller3 makes a size change to your partition to allow plenty of room for CM10. If you don't do this, you will have problems.

UPDATED BUILD:
This build should have MUCH BETTER battery life!

There is currently a lot of commotion in the Kindle Fire HD dev community about custom ROMs. Thanks to the wonderful work of Hashcode and his Safestrap utility, we will soon be able to load a custom ROM onto the Kindle Fire HD. This will allow the device to shed it's one crippling feature, the custom OS that Amazon was so "nice" to use. I have offered up my own Kindle Fire HD to Hashcode as the test unit for getting this up and running.
Once all of the bugs are worked out, we will throw a ROM on it, and I will make a video to share this with the world. Be patient, as there are several steps that still need to be done, but rest assured that it is ON THE WAY.
For more information on Hashcode's Safestrap utility, you can go here:

It is coming... The one feature that will make the Kindle Fire HD a true competitor in the 7 inch tablet market.
Stay Tuned!
Well, it kind of works. This is more of a teaser than anything. One bold dev, Dorregaray, has attempted to rework the whole camera from the ground up, and has released a preview build with a partially working camera. I'm sure with more time, it will be improved.
What works:
-preview, but it's 90 degrees off.
-take pictures, and they look okay.
What doesn't work:
-No video, no Skype
-Once you take photos and then leave the app, the camera crashes and stops working
-Reboots sometimes produce a blue screen that requires a hard reboot.
And before anyone asks.... NO THIS ISN'T WORKING ON CM10 JELLYBEAN!!!!
I don't recommend using this yet, but if you insist...
Here is the link to the download:
Flash the zip using TWRP or ClockWork Recovery.
Enjoy!
